Creativity and Design for Social Change in Cities

Ridwan Kamil is among the biggest names in modern Indonesian architecture. As an architect with a love for green, he uses creative design such as maximizing pedestrian walkways to solve urban issues. He is famously known as the designer of Aceh’s tsunami museum and Rasuna Epicentrum (Jakarta). His house was made from 30,000 used Red Bull bottles.  He talks about the importance of innovation, creativity and collaboration among the many and diverse creative communities in Indonesia. He also stresses the importance of the design of cities, where the increasing majority of mankind lives.
